If you have chosen South East England for its easy access to London why not join our 'Royal London' walk? Park free at our home in Three Bridges and be escorted by train direct to the Capital to enjoy a comprehensive private half day guided walk. The afternoon and evening is free to further explore the City's attractions after a briefing on those which particularly interest you.
Tour 1 'Royal London Walk'
After watching the Changing of the Guard, we start our leisurely stroll through English history - taking in the London homes of the Royal Family and the Prime Minister, Horseguards' Parade, two Royal Parks, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, St James' Palace, Whitehall Palace, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Free parking at Gatwick Three Bridges, guide book, travel maps and refreshments are all included. We also offer the option of starting the walk from your London hotel.

Tour 2 An English Village
A guided stroll through one of the county's best preserved rural villages, reflecting the heritage of English country life. Browse in antique shops and have refreshments at an 18th Century pub.
Tour 3 Highlights of English Architecture The tour takes in fine examples of Sussex buildings from Saxon churches,medieval farmhouses and windmills to 14th century cottages and Elizabethan mansions.
Tour 4 Sussex Literary Landscapes Travel eastwards across the Sussex Weald with beautiful views, to see the historic house and gardens where Rudyard Kipling lived, then south to Charleston Farmhouse where Vanessa Bell, her sister Virginia Woolf, Dora Carrington and others in the Bloomsbury Group of writers and artists flourished earlier this century.
Tour 5 Castles of Kent
A scenic tour in your car across the 'garden county' via the spa town of Tunbridge Wells and nearby Tonbridge, to visit its 13th century castle by the river. Then on to the pictures que medieval village of Chiddingstone, arriving at Hever Castle, childhood home of Anne Boleyn, in time for lunch. Hever was extensively restored early this century by American millionaire William Waldorf Astor.
Tour 6 Portsmouth's Naval Heritage'
Travelling westwards and down through the beautiful Arun Valley, we call first at the medieval town of Arundel with its castle and then Georgian Chichester with afine cathedraL Following the coast through ancient harbour towns and the seaside resort of Southsea we reach Portsmouth, home of the British Navy across the centuries. Admiral Lord Nelson is 'Victory'and other famous warships are on display, plus all the other Naval Heritage exhibits
Tour 7 A Rural Ride to Stonehenge
Avoid the morning motorway backups and let David navigate you , across rural Sussex, Hampshire and Wiltshire to Stonehenge, via
historic cathedrals of Southern England. An informative commentary will be given along the route, with a lunch stop at a traditional English pub.
Tour 8 Arundel Castle and Chichester Cathedral After visiting a 1000 year old village deep in the Sussex countryside, we arrive at Chichester, founded by the Romans and famous for its mediaeval Cathedral and Georgian streets. On to Arundel Castle, home for 500 years of England's premier dukedom.
If you served in the U.S. 8th Airforce in W.W.II don't miss our tour to the new American Air Museum near Cambridge - visit to the city included.
Walks and tours to match your personal interests and requirements can easily be arranged - perhaps visiting your ancestral roots, learning about and sampling English food and drink (Real Ale?) or enjoying the delights of Brighton and the Sussex coast .......
Except for tour 1 all prices are per trip, regardless of the number of people in your party and include refreshments and guiding. For tours 3 thru' 8, Jackie or David travel with you in your rental car, providing route planning, navigation and commentary. Whilst you're in England having had one of our tours you're welcome to ring us for continuing help and advice. We're better tourware support than Microsoft!
